Cloth Care Guide

To help your cloths stay soft and see you through the young years.
We recommend washing your cloths inside the Panni Bimbi laundry bag to protect them in the washing machine, followed by air drying them.

Use our Australian made Cloth Cleanser Bar between meals, so you can extend using your cloth for an extra meal or day. By periodically brushing with the Panni Brush, this will help keep them looking and feeling their best - mess after mess.

Machine washing your Panni Bimbi cloths

Rinse any large food residue off your cloths before placing them inside the laundry bag that comes with your cloth set.

Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle, with a mild detergent.

Line dry in the shade or over your kitchen tap.
Do not iron, use fabric softeners or bleach.

Tip: After messy meals with rich or colourful foods, a quick rinse as soon as you can, with or without the Cloth Cleanser Bar, helps lift pigment before it sets and before machine washing.

Refresh the mess:
Using the Cloth Cleanser Bar

In between meals and washes, our lightly scented Cloth Cleanser Bar removes stubborn marks and keeps your cloths smelling beautifully fresh of eucalyptus and citrus.

To use, lather the bar directly onto a warm wet cloth and rinse clean. Allow the bar to drain and dry between uses.

The Cloth Cleanser Bar is handmade in Australia with organic coconut oil and refreshing essential oils.

Turn the Cloth Cleanser bar into a liquid gel:
Dissolve 1 heaped tablespoon of grated Cloth Cleanser Bar into 1 cup (250 mL) of hot water to make a gel cleanser. Decanter into a pump bottle of your choice.

A sweep of occasional care:
Using the Panni Brush

Periodically, as your Panni Bimbi cloths are loved and used, they may need a little help to fluff back up. When this happens, use a dry Panni Brush on a dry cloth. Gently but firmly, sweep your cloths in one direction at a time and watch the soft pile return.

The Panni Brush is made from solid FSC certified beechwood with long lasting Tampico Fibre bristles.

Extra tip:
The Care Duo is a handy addition to your normal laundry routine:
The brush and soap can be used as a pre-wash stain treatment on textiles before a regular wash. Simply wet the stain with the bar and scrub with the brush. As always, be gentle and spot test somewhere inconspicuous before use.
